![]() ![]() You can also see this happening in the action bars with the shading not quite starting at the top but rather somewhere around the 1-3 o'clock region. Indeed, if you spam an instant-cast spell you'll find that each cast (except the first one) does effectively trigger ever so sligtly after the GCD is over. Okay, after looking at this for a moment, I think I have some ideas of what's happening. Sometimes the GCD isn't even finished and the queued spell will go off early too, but that doesn't consistently happen and can probably be blamed on tiny lag spikes. Is this normal? Coming from other MMO's, it feels fairly clunky and combat doesn't feel great in general because of it. The spell queue setting that defaults to 400ms has nothing to do with this, changing it doesn't do anything and even when set to 0 and mashing an ability as fast as possible there's still a delay before it starts going off. I've got 20ms of ping, zero packet loss and it happens consistently. I've tried swapping to Mage and spamming Ice Lance on test dummies and the same thing happens. Instead of being a smooth spinning animation, all the ability icons briefly flash before actually going off. With WoW though, there's a small delay after the GCD finishes and abilities are refreshed before the queued cast actually goes off so the refresh animation isn't smooth and it feel like I'm lagging. In other MMO's i've played, as soon as the gcd finishes you can cast immediately, so the GCD is always ticking (as seen by the rotating refresh animation on abilities that keeps spinning smoothly). Just started playing and i've been playing an Arms Warrior, and I'm having a bit of an issue. ![]()
